Henry Hodges

Henry Hodges is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison currently pursuing an Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences BS degree. Originally from Arlington, Virginia, Henry developed a strong interest in weather as a 10 year old when his home town experienced two major snowstorms within a week. This love for winter weather played a role in his decision to attend UW-Madison, and has inspired him to create Madison Weather Blog in order to share this passion in the form of detailed, engaging weather forecasts.

Jared Van Bramer

Forecaster, Writer, Co-Social Media Manager

Jared Van Bramer is an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences and Environmental Studies BS degrees. He was born and raised in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin (the one city in Door County that everyone drives through but never stops in). Jared became intrigued with weather when he was 7 years old when he got over his immense fear of thunderstorms and learned to love severe weather. Being a die-hard Badger fan since day 1, Jared took no time in choosing UW-Madison and is thrilled to be a part of one of the most highly regarded scientific communities in the country.
